Optimised Cost Dashboard​

The Financial Dashboard has been expanded with additional widget types and improved data loading.

  • New Account Distribution widget showing spend per linked account as a donut chart.
  • New Top Services table widget ranking the most expensive services for the selected month.
  • New Monthly Spend Trend widget displaying a six-month bar and line chart with projection.
  • Widgets now support per-widget account and service filtering, so each widget can show a different slice of your cost data.
  • Dashboard month selector state is now persisted. Switching away and back remembers your selection.

Tagged Cost Data​

A new set of tag-based cost widgets is now available on the Financial Dashboard. These widgets break down your cloud spend by tag key and tag value.

New Widget Types​

  • Tag Daily Spend - daily cost bar chart grouped by tag key/value for the selected month.
  • Tag Spend Distribution - donut chart showing total spend per tag value for a given tag key.
  • Top Tags (Table) - ranked table of the most expensive tag key/value combinations.
  • Tag Service Spend - donut chart showing spend per cloud service filtered by a specific tag. Useful for answering questions like "how much does EC2 cost for resources tagged monitor=true?"

Tag Filtering​

Each tag widget includes two filter dropdowns in the widget header:

  • Tag Key filter - select from known tag keys or type a custom one.
  • Tag Value filter - select from known values for the chosen key, or type a custom value.

Both filters support free-text entry, so you can query any tag combination even if it has not been indexed yet. Filters are saved per widget and persist across page reloads.

Release Notifications​

Starting with this version, Factor Fifty will show a brief notification banner after each platform update. The banner appears below the navigation bar with a short summary of what changed and a link to the full changelog. You can dismiss it at any time and it will not appear again for that version.
