v0.0.7
Release date: 2026-04-22
Summary
AWS rightsizing recommendations are now available in beta alongside the existing Azure support. The savings dashboard has been expanded with commitment plan browsing, and several data accuracy fixes have been applied across the cost, inventory, and savings modules.
AWS Rightsizing (Beta)
The rightsizing module now supports AWS resources alongside Azure. A provider toggle lets you switch between the two clouds on the same page.
- EC2 Instances — rightsizing recommendations based on CPU and memory utilisation over a configurable lookback window.
- RDS Databases — identifies over-provisioned database instances with before/after cost comparisons.
- ElastiCache, OpenSearch, ECS Services — coverage for managed services with utilisation-based recommendations.
- EBS Volumes & Elastic IPs — flags orphaned or underutilised storage and unattached Elastic IPs.
- NAT Gateways & Security Groups — surfaces unused networking resources for cleanup.
AWS rightsizing is marked as BETA in the provider toggle. Recommendation accuracy will improve as more utilisation data is collected.
Savings Dashboard Improvements
The Cost Optimization page has been expanded with new capabilities for managing savings plans and commitments.
- Savings Plan Browser — browse available savings plans as cards with monthly savings estimates, term details, and automation status. Plans marked "Most Popular" are highlighted.
- Plan Detail Modal — click any plan to see a detailed breakdown with line items, coverage percentages, and an option to apply the plan directly.
- Plan Search — search for a specific savings plan by UUID to view its details.
- Provider Toggle — switch between AWS and Azure commitment data without leaving the page.
- KPI Row — summary cards showing Total Savings, Month-to-Date Savings, Expiring Soon (within 30 days), and Coverage percentage.
- CSV and PDF Export — export commitment inventory and plan details for offline review.
Bug Fixes
- Inventory tags — fixed an issue where tag filtering could return incorrect results for resources with multiple tags.
- Savings data — corrected a calculation error in the savings summary that could undercount month-to-date savings for certain commitment types.
- Cost dashboard — resolved a bug in the cost controller that affected provider-filtered queries.
- Tag cost endpoint — removed an unused tag cost controller action that was returning stale data.
- Widget card rendering — fixed currency formatting inconsistencies in dashboard widgets when switching between providers.
